We test Rawdogg the way we’d test anyone else’s AI: the same messages, hundreds of replies, numbers on the table. This is what we found and how to use it.

Use it better
- Want it raw? Turn Memory off for that chat. The Memory button under the message box turns it off for the chat you’re in. That chat stops using what it knows about you and saves nothing new. Your notes and your other chats are left alone. Why it matters.
- Say how long. The size picker under the message box goes from XS (one line) to XXL (1,500 words and up). Auto sizes each reply to your message.
- Don’t settle for the first take. Reroll gives you another one. “Reroll in a different direction” tells it to go somewhere new. The earlier takes are kept, so you can step back to the one you liked.
- Turn on Web for anything recent. It searches before it answers. Only your latest message goes to the search (plus the one before it, for a short follow-up), never the rest of the chat.
- Fix what it remembers. Open Memory to edit or remove any note, or start a message with “forget that…” in a chat. A note that is no longer true gets in the way.
- Pick a chat back up whenever. It can see when each message was sent, so last night stays last night. How we checked.
